Dr. K.M. Kavoussi has been providing
care for infertility and gynecology patients in the
Austin area for over 25 years. After his residency training
at the Bayview campus of Johns Hopkins University in
Baltimore, he completed a fellowship in Reproductive
Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Maryland.
He has extensive experience performing laparoscopic

Dr. Shahryar Kavoussi grew up in the
Austin area and has returned to practice here after
having completed his residency training at The University
of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and a
3 year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and
Infertility at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Dr. Parviz Kavoussi grew up in the Austin area and has returned to practice here after having completed his residency in urology and a 2-year fellowship in Andrology: male infertility, sexual medicine, and microsurgery (vasectomy reversals) at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. He joined Austin Fertility & Reproductive Medicine, where he does not offer services in general urology, but solely provides care for men in the areas of infertility and sexual medicine. Austin Fertility & Reproductive Medicine is the only fertility center in Austin with fellowship trained specialists in male and female infertility and reproductive medicine. Dr. Kavoussi received his M.D. from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and subsequently completed his residency training at Texas A&M Health Sciences Center, Scott & White Memorial Hospital. Dr. Kavoussi’s publications have included textbook chapters, as well as peer-reviewed articles in multiple journals. He also taught post-graduate courses at national meetings.
His research interests have included basic science work in erectile dysfunction and male infertility, in addition to his clinical interests in the field of reproductive medicine.
